CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) — A new mobile app that Go Cedar Rapids tourism group developed aims to help expand people’s food and drink horizons.
For $30 per year, people can sign up for the CR Ale Trail and have exclusive access to deals at area breweries and restaurants.
GO Cedar Rapids says the intention is to get people out and try new things.
“At GO Cedar Rapids our goal is to encourage visitors and residents alike to engage with our attractions, restaurants and venues,” said Aaron McCreight, president and CEO of GO Cedar Rapids, in a news release. “The CR Ale Trail is the latest application of that mission. We look forward to the success of this program as we continue developing even more interactive experiences.”
Participating businesses include Another Road Brewery, Black Sheep Social Club, Brewhemia, Cedar Ridge Winery & Distillery, Lion Bridge Brewing Company, Iowa Brewing Company, Millstream Brau Haus, Need Pizza, NewBo City Market, Pig & Porter, Quarter Barrel, Tomaso’s Pizza, Turner Alley Brewing Company and White Star Ale House.
